Treatment for Excessive Sweating

What is Hyperhidrosis?

Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excessive sweating.

This commonly occurs in the armpits, palms or the soles of the feet.

Sweating is normal a normal body process. The evaporation of the water from the skin takes the heat away from the body and so sweating is vital for temperature control. Although, in some people, this process can be excessive.

Hyperhidrosis can be secondary to another illness, or, in many others, it is merely due to overactive sweat glands or over activity of the sympathetic nervous system.

Please note that this treatment is provided purely for cosmetic results only, for those who are extremely conscious of the sweaty appearance and no medical diagnosis will be provided.
