The Bravo Signature Lips

REJUVENATE AND CONTOUR

Bravo Rejuvenate

This advanced technique mainly uses a blunt microcannula to rejuvenate lips that have lost volume over time due to the ageing process, or to add a subtle volume to naturally small sized lips.

This technique normally causes less bruising and swelling.

This is mainly the first choice for first-time lip filler patients, more mature age-group, or anyone who just wants a more natural but plump, rejuvenated look.

Bravo Contour

This advanced technique uses a sharp needle to create that sharp contour. Multiple delicate injections result to the sought after vertical height therefore causes more bruising and swelling post treatment.

This is very popular in the younger generation and those aiming to achieve more shape, volume and vertical height..

At Ely SPMU & Aesthetic Clinic, the most important part of our consultation is listening to your aesthetic goals and what you wish to achieve. Part of our commitment to you is ensuring that we keep our practitioners up to date with the safest and most advanced technique in injectables whilst ensuring that we are able to cater to the desires of our patients with varying goals and ages.

Our Bravo Signature Lips use two different advanced injecting techniques- occasionally a combination of both advanced microcannula and needle contouring method to achieve the look that you're after. You also get to choose among the market leading lip filler brands in the market. Our medical practitioner will guide you on which is the most suitable filler to use based on what you wish to achieve. Whilst we encourage you to tell us which of these after photos you would like your lips to achieve, it is vital that your expectations are set and understand that everyone has individualised lip structure, texture, shape and even the underlying anatomical variances to start with, and that the outcome of your enhancement is very much dependant on these - alongside our very experienced and meticulous hands - there certainly is no cheap filler, trout pout or sausage lips at Ely SPMU & Aesthetic Clinic

What product is injected into the lips?

HA is a natural substance that we already have in our bodies. It mimics the lifting effect of your skin’s natural occurring HA to keep the skin hydrated and elastic.

When introduced to the skin, the ha based dermal fillers not only volumise, they also gradually integrate within the facial tissue itself. drawing water tothe area and locking in moisture, a lot of patients will notice a more rejuvenated and hydrated skin as a result which can last up to 18 months.

How long does lip fillers last?

Longevity varies by area, product and individual metabolism—often 6–18 months—and is determined by the manufacturer, not guaranteed by Ely SPMU & Aesthetic Clinic.

Outcomes also depend on the volume used and, most importantly, the skill of your practitioner and will depend on how fast your body metabolises the HA

Does it hurt?

You will be numbed prior to the lip fillers, however it can cause discomfort, the “Cupids Bow” is known to be the most sensitive area. If the treatment takes place during the time of your period, or if you smoke, you may be more sesnitive, as smoking can affect the numbing cream.

How do I know how much to have?

We usually recommend 1ml.

A lot of people are sometimes concerned about how they will look and opt for 0.5, but once the swelling goes down, they are often disappointed and end up spending double the money, by then rebooking for an additional 0.5ml.

1ml offers a soft, natural look.

I’ve had them done elsewhere and I don’t like them. Can you help?

Luckily our nurse specialises in complications and has decades of experience and attends master classes in Harley Street.

Not only is she trained in a variety of methods, including canular for a soft natural look and the Russian lip technique for a more dramatic look. She has plenty of experience dissolving migration and other complications that may have occurred from other injectors.

Will I bruise?

Expect possible tenderness, swelling or bruising for 24–72 hours. You are more likely to bruise, if it is your first time, but this can be dramatically reduced if you take Arnica tablets, 5 days prior. These can be purchased from boots, llyods pharmacy, Superdrug, Holland and Barrett or superstores.

Avoid Aspirin, Motrin, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin E or any other essential fatty acids, at least 3 days to 1 week after treatment, as these items may increase bleeding and bruising.

Aftercare includes avoiding strenuous exercise, heat and alcohol for 24 hours.

How long is the appointment?

Sessions typically take 30–60 minutes.
